I think you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have pointed out, the hard plastic case that surrounds the iPad doesn't snap into place. The outer rubber tread could also be tighter. This makes charging cumbersome. Maybe go for a higher level if you're looking for a good fit. Let's see how it works. Update: The protective rubber surrounding the iPad is loose and loose. (see photos) Charging is a nightmare and won't let you connect. I will come back and order an Otterbox.
