I needed a case as I just got a working iPad and it has enough drop protection, it's easy to hold and the angle of the stand is good. Excellent value for money and quality. I think the strength of the stand probably feels a little flimsy so kids can easily break it. Make sure you read the case opening instructions to put your iPad in and don't force it or accidentally scratch it. Top value for money as promised. It's a bit bulky but not unnecessarily as it's fine in the event of a fall.

In this case there was no form of screen protection, ie. strained glass. Luckily I ordered one. This case consists of two hard plastic halves that snap around the device and are then encased by a third soft rubber shell. This case will definitely protect your device from falling. However, I was very disappointed that the two plastic halves didn't snap securely into the sides of the device and there was an awkward creaking and moving under the rubber. I just received. With a little patience, I was able to open the case and install my iPad G6. The power cord closed perfectly, even with my bulky plug. In this case, the volume controls in the upper right corner are even simpler. I used the camera and perfect view. It has a sturdy but not durable plastic, meaning an adjustable stand, but only in length. This case was so good we had to buy another case because our stand broke but it's not the manufacturer's fault, not my kids, me can't stop holding it up, and it's not designed for that. For that reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with young children as they will be doing the same thing as my kids, but it's great for a teen or adult who needs a quality protective case with a retractable kickstand.

Just received today. My screen is cracked so I won't test it that way. But the outer shell is actually a very soft silicone/rubber like material. It was easy and quick to put on. Seems pretty solid and protective when dropped. It was a good product at a good price. The footrest seems to be in a strange place but I never use it. So I don't care

I bought this bag because the leather bag we had before couldn't withstand the rigors of a 9 year old. Wanted something we could clean with Clorox wipes and was fighting between a hard plastic case and a rubberized one. Decided that a better grip rubber boot might prevent falls and went for it. I think you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have pointed out, the hard plastic case that surrounds the iPad doesn't snap into place. The outer rubber tread could also be tighter. This makes charging cumbersome. Maybe go for a higher level if you're looking for a good fit. Let's see how it works. Update: The protective rubber surrounding the iPad is loose and loose. (see photos) Charging is a nightmare and won't let you connect. I will come back and order an Otterbox.
