Not bad for the price.

I bought this bag because the leather bag we had before couldn't withstand the rigors of a 9 year old. Wanted something we could clean with Clorox wipes and was fighting between a hard plastic case and a rubberized one. Decided that a better grip rubber boot might prevent falls and went for it. The cover consists of 3 parts. There are 2 internal hard plastic pieces that fit around the iPad and then attach the rubber sleeve to the plastic liner. The rubber feels nice and grippy, making the iPad feel like it's sitting at home on Batman's belt. There are small port covers that open over the lighting port and headphone jack. My guess is that they wear out over time and keep popping open because they snap easily onto the plastic case with tiny rubber tabs. The time will show. Another important detail is the running board. It's made of cheap plastic and looks pretty flimsy. For the price, however, this case seems like a fair deal. If that lasts a year, I'll be happy.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Weak set
