🕰️ Wooden UGEARS Clock Puzzles for Adults Review

I love UGears models and have collected two dozen different models. I bought two of these clocks, rebuilt several times and they don't work. I like the challenge, but this watch just sucks.

This watch was great to build, lots of detail but the instructions were clear. But it doesn't work together, it gets stuck somewhere, so I have to keep working on it. But even without work, it is beautiful on the wall.

They have diagrams but dotted lines compared to pictures - bought two and tried to pay attention to every detail - no luck - got very excited when I knew what to buy extra must pay - but still does not work - try another manufacturer

I've built twenty of these 3D puzzles from five different manufacturers and this is UGears' third. Many, many years ago my father taught me that if I don't have anything nice to say... just don't say anything!

This is my 7th UGEARS set that I have put together. You just have to be patient, follow the instructions and make sure the builds work correctly. I had trouble with this initially and thought it was the design, but I found that it was just a matter of making sure the nodes moved freely.

When I first received this model I was very happy with it. It even worked for me with less weight than recommended by the manufacturer. After a few months it doesn't work anymore. The problem is in the watch case. Over time, the bezel twists slightly under the weight, causing the watch to stop working. This watch is really nice. The illustrated instructions are mostly correct. However, the assembly process would be greatly simplified if each side had some sort of verbal definition. This applies in particular to photos of the process of attaching the cord. Judging by the comments of other builders, this is the general opinion. I can't imagine what it would take for your engineers to come back and create a usable document now. One thought might be to ask your customers who built this watch how…

Are toothpicks like axles in a clockwork? Metal axles should be used everywhere! Otherwise good quality. The frame design needs a little more rigidity. I think people have two problems with stopping clocks: 1) the toothpick axles and 2) the frame flexes when you put weights on it and this causes some mechanisms to jam. One of the reasons mine wasn't tighter was that I had to take it apart and reassemble it a few times because I did something wrong. I'll try a second build without disassembling…

Update 10/31/2021: Almost three months later the clock is still running. A short video was shot tonight. It runs almost continuously except when I forget to start it. The balloon problem persists (see below). I solved the problem by disabling it. So now the balloon just hangs there and doesn't do anything.
