Pretty dress to wear at home, but needs bra pads to wear in public

This dress is pretty but ultimately not useful if you EVER want to wear it around people who you don't want to see your nipples. The dress does have pros and cons. I got the pink/mauve color and the color is really nice looking in person. And the versatility is really fun--I like playing with the different ways to style it. My favorite is to twist the straps into little cap sleeves over my shoulders. A simple wide X in the back and another around the waist is also a nice look. But the material is really thin and cheap feeling, and the way the back part is designed/sewn is extremely cheap/badly done. The stitching on the back part started coming undone almost right away, revealing the white elastic inside. But even before that came undone, it's just not a nice looking design for that section of the dress. Maybe thicker fabric, wider elastic, & better stitching would have helped. Also, this dress would be SO MUCH BETTER if the straps had removable pads in the breast area. You cannot wear a bra with this dress, period (the back part is too low, so even strapless wouldn't work). And the material is really thin, like bathing suit material. So that means the outline of your nipples is 100% visible through the straps. I don't understand why they didn't design this like a bathing suit top, with little slits so you can insert or remove bra pads to cover your nipples if you want. Because of this, I essentially use this dress for fun at home. I like to get dressed up & play with hair and makeup, etc. and it's fun for that. Or like if I have a nice dinner at home with my husband. He's the only person I don't mind seeing my nipples (and he doesn't mind either!). But I have never worn the dress outside my home and probably never will unless I can figure out a way to fix the bra problem.I wonder how the more expensive versions of the multi dress have dealt with this issue? Do they have bra pads? Or maybe the material is thicker? I'm not sure, but if you want to wear this in public you should probably get a more expensive version.
