Men's Under Armor Essential Crew Socks are made in China from 96% polyester and 4% spandex. The socks have a snug heel and a smooth seam at the toes. Spandex keeps them in place up the leg but doesn't bind them. Polyester socks absorb moisture, they are thin and light. They are also easy to care for, machine washable and suitable for tumble drying. The package I received is a medium size for men who wear size 4-8 shoes and women who wear size 6-9 shoes. They were intended for my husband, but since the average size for him was small, I took them for myself. I consider crew socks to be gender neutral. I wear size 9 women's shoes and they fit me as expected. The men's Under Armor Essential Crew Sock is well made and a great choice for anyone who loves polyester socks, including women.
