Review on πŸ—ΊοΈ Explorer by Victorinox Swiss Army by Terrance Fisher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Damn versatile.

I mostly wear Alox SAK but when I wear Cellidor it's Climber. I've always felt that the Climber has pretty much everything you could possibly need without the extra bulky layers that make carrying a knife difficult. But just in case, I got the Explorer, and he threw the Climber out of my pockets. A fourth layer isn't enough to make a huge difference in your pocket, especially if you're using a pendant, but the addition of a built-in Phillips screwdriver makes this a tool for just about any situation. And a magnifying glass is a lot more useful than you think, especially when you're in your 40s and your focal length is going to hell. In short, this is a fairly powerful multi-tool that is no different from being bulky. If you ever need to plan, open crates, open bags/pool chemicals/grass seed/trail food, make SIMPLE beepers (like the lids of small paint cans), strip fine wire, open bottle caps, open tin cans, cut Along the way you cut hair, cut clothes tags, cut coupons, cut flowers, hunt and tear wood chips, tighten or pry out Phillips head screws size 1 or 2, same goes for countersunk screws, identify small insects, read fine writing, change battery clock, change the SAC scale, patching a hole in a tarp, tent, or piece of leather, drilling an extra hole in that belt, opening wine bottles, untangling knots, hanging something on a ceiling joist, drilling a pilot hole for screws, cutting nails, or whatever, it helps.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly torn
