Victorinox has perfected these pocket knives

I've had one style or another of Victorinox pocket knives for many, many years. Nobody does it better than Victorinox. I use a toothpick, tweezers, screwdriver and magnifying glass much more often than blades, which are easy to sharpen and hold up well. I usually lose it or sharpen a large blade so many times that it becomes so small that it needs to be replaced. I will buy Victorinox pocket knives for the rest of my life.

cant lose with swiss

this should be my 15th in decades not the same number i bought for gifts. I call him my best friend, street guy. When I leave the house, I check my keys, my wallet and my Swiss. many many uses. I refuse to list them here because we have a reputation for trying to "do what they do". find your reasons. Conductor is perfect for me. not too many bulky tools, not too few. Phillips in the end how it should be. I've seen some with it like "T" and I hate them. This allows it to have more torque but not

Good things from bags

A few years ago I bought a model of the Victorinox "Hercules" Swiss Army Knife. I also wrote a review about it, an excellent knife. Was is still! I have it but wanted something smaller so people wouldn't go crazy when I got it at work (I work at a hardware store so it takes a lot of getting used to). It's great for its size, performs well. The tools feel nice and solid, the magnifying glass is really strong! You could see moon craters with this thing (just kidding, of course it's pretty good)…

The most important thing to have in your pocket

I have owned a Swiss Army Knife since army service in the Korean War, and I have long chosen the Explorer model, which suits my needs. It's SO important to the fulfillment of my life that in addition to what I always carry in my bag, I always have at least one spare so if I lose one I never run out. A pair of scissors for cutting out newspaper, nose hair and fingernails, a toothpick for removing quinoa "seeds" from between teeth, a wine bottle cork, Phillips and flathead screwdrivers for…

  • Lots of positive emotions

Ultimate Everyday Carry

When you're looking for the perfect everyday carry toolkit, the Explorer is second to none. All of the most versatile tools are complemented by the rarely seen built-in Phillips screwdriver (works better than the regular T-handle version on other models) and a magnifying glass (x6, very clear and bright), the usefulness of which cannot be underestimated. when reading microprint on insert labels or electronics. These two additions make the Explorer superior to the Tinker/Super Tinker for all…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

Great knife and magnifying glass!

So, after a long time back and forth, I grabbed this knife. Back and forth was switched from SAK to the magnifying glass (lens). I have an old Explorer with a gray body and glass lens and I've always found it to be very durable. When I decided to go ahead and get it, I was thrilled with the changes SAK made. Yes, it's all plastic and certainly not as "strong" as the previous incarnation, but what you lose in the strength of the material you gain elsewhere! First, it has a much larger lens for…

One of the best must-own samples SAK

Pure Victorinox. The Explorer is one of the top 5 designs they have ever made in any size. For people who work in industry and trade and want a serviceable knife, this knife is hard to beat. You can work with most Fastners, only Cybertool has the best driver, but it's much thicker and more expensive. It is also interesting to see a nice big pair of scissors. Nothing petty here. These are good, sharp, and convenient scissors. And you get two just-sized blades that you can both razor-sharp and…

  • It's okay

Damn versatile.

I mostly wear Alox SAK but when I wear Cellidor it's Climber. I've always felt that the Climber has pretty much everything you could possibly need without the extra bulky layers that make carrying a knife difficult. But just in case, I got the Explorer, and he threw the Climber out of my pockets. A fourth layer isn't enough to make a huge difference in your pocket, especially if you're using a pendant, but the addition of a built-in Phillips screwdriver makes this a tool for just about any…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I have owned and carried a Swiss Army Knife for over 45 years. And yes, I'm an Eagle Scout. Of all the models, the Explorer has the best combination of tools, believe me I've used several models over the years. Big knives with lots of tools are good, but carrying them around is getting harder and harder. Small knives lack basic tools. All of the tools in Explorer are useful except one: the hook. The hook on the bottom of the knife is intended to make carrying the package easier due to the rope…
