This device is very easy to use. I used to have a smart charger for AA and AAA batteries. Love it. Except sometimes it is difficult to take out the batteries after charging. This charger is SUPER easy to insert and remove batteries. I like everything about it. Two small things to note: 1. My girlfriend also bought one with D batteries. When she charged hers for the first time, the screen went black and was unusable for a while. Then he magically came back to life. Pretty sure this shouldn't have happened, but it's worth paying attention to.2. I have fully charged the C batteries that came with the device. fine calculated. I then unplugged the device to take it to another location. When I plugged it back in 5 minutes later, the fully charged batteries started charging again. I thought that was weird, so I contacted the company. They said it was a quirk but nothing to worry about. I left the batteries alone for a few days and then tested them with a separate battery tester. He said they were in good shape so I'm sure they're fine. They're meant to be used in something that won't open anytime soon, so I can't accurately test battery life at this time. Overall I would buy it again. I would suggest putting a note in the box about charging the batteries in parallel so nobody worries as much as I do.
