I bought this phone mount after purchasing a similar model that the seller is selling. Like the other model, this one is very well built and not flimsy at all. This allows you to position the phone in almost any position you can think of. The holder has strong "lips" that hold the phone firmly but gently in place. You can easily charge your phone with the hole at the bottom and easily detach it with a single button press. I have an iPhone 5 with an Otterbox case and it grips the phone tightly. The soft back keeps your phone secure. I mounted my phone on a weighted beanbag mount on the dash so I had a clear and clean spot instead of putting it on the window. This is personal preference only. The suction cup stays on nicely and I can position the phone horizontally or vertically as needed for phone calls or GPS. Also, when I receive calls, it's convenient to just transfer the call to the speaker and use it as a hands-free phone, which is required in my state.
