Okay. To be honest I prefer the metal frame (less risk of breaking them when they're in my pants/shorts pocket - I've done a few times - once with these) but overall I like that the frame is solid - they don't. I don't have those little pads for my nose - they fit my nose snugly and fit comfortably in my ears. Also, they're not very big, so they don't sit on my cheeks (I hate that). For plastic readers they are pretty durable and I have 4 pairs in different locations so they are always available. It's very worth it. although it would be much better if they had the usual "solid" arms instead of spring pivots. but at least these glasses are big enough that they don't hang around when I'm wearing them. like other spring hinge glasses.
