First, there are some decent ideas for this backpack. I like the protective case on the back and it wasn't too heavy. Design and functionality just don't go together. There are deep pockets that you cannot use and few compartments. I was very disappointed with the front pocket area because it goes deep, but the zipper only opens about a third of the way. This requires you to only enter this area from the top straight down. Not very comfortable. Compared to Swissgear, Ogio or even Samsonite, they all open up completely to make compartments accessible here and a key hook (in case he has something to complain about). In addition, the sunglass case is very thin. Most sunglasses will not fit. Sorry I was expecting a lot more and this bag missed the mark.
