The backpack came in excellent packaging. There was a zipper that didn't close at all. The second zipper came off very easily. The material was attractive, but not built to last or be subjected to heavy use. After 3 minutes I realized that this product doesn't even last a year. I was trying to replace a backpack that had withstood 18 years of intense daily use. I think I have to spend a lot more money even though it was the same price as my 18 year old friend.

First, there are some decent ideas for this backpack. I like the protective case on the back and it wasn't too heavy. Design and functionality just don't go together. There are deep pockets that you cannot use and few compartments. I was very disappointed with the front pocket area because it goes deep, but the zipper only opens about a third of the way.
