Bought this cable, worked fine for a while and delivered a stable 1440p resolution at 144Hz with no problems. As the weather got drier and more static I noticed my display quickly going black and then turning on again when I got static while touching one of my PC peripherals. I looked around and found that it was connected to the 20th pin of the active DisplayPort cable, which violates VESA standards (so this cable isn't certified). Looking at the cable, pin 20 appears to be active and connected. Over time, this can damage your monitor or graphics card as performance is not being delivered as it should be. You can probably tell I'm not an electrician, but feel free to google it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with that in mind.
