Review on Armitron Sport Women's Digital Chronograph Watch with Resin Strap, Model 45/7012 by Anthony Tegan

I'm writing this review to support the Revain customer community. Despite many reviews on this watch, I could not find an answer as to what type of battery it needs. I finally took the watch apart and now I can tell you that there was a CR1616 3V battery inside. The brand was Maxell. I was very happy with this watch. The price of a waterproof watch cannot be higher. I ordered a silver one that looks good enough to wear with business or other attire. I wear it for a swim in the sea a few times a week and it lasted pretty much exactly 1 year before the display failed. This happened while I was in the water and I wasn't sure if the watch had failed due to a dead battery or water. I have ordered a new battery and will try to swap it out and see if it works. Since this watch is very reasonably priced, I had a bit of a fight with myself when deciding whether or not to replace the battery. But in the end I decided it wasn't worth spending $3.55 on a pack of 3 CR1616 3V batteries and trying to swap out the battery. . . Whether I can reassemble it and keep it waterproof is still unknown and I will try to update this review once I have the battery and try to fit it into the watch.
