They are so cute and functional! They are a cross between tennis shoes and shoes for little girls. Ideal for the summer. The sole is soft but supportive. The outsole is moderately flexible. The outer fabric is thin and breathable. I like that the soles cover the toes so they don't tear them up by pulling their toes. I also like that the velcro strap has a small rubber end at the top that a child can easily pull on so they can put their shoes on and off by themselves. Good soil protection. These are really great kids shoes. Also, the colors are great. The ribbon has an iridescent sheen that makes them a bit extravagant.
