This product is beautiful, useful and a good height for my new walker to reach the sink. My son enjoys playing with the lid on the highest setting and the hinges are too loose to grip a small baby with tiny fingers and poor coordination. As this is a children's product I'm not sure why it isn't a little safer for children. I like its functionality and looks and will continue to use it, but manufacturers need to fix this shortcoming. I even briefly looked for glue or something to make the loop tighter, but gave up as there have been no major accidents yet. However, it annoys me when my son has to keep opening and closing the lid.
