Review on 🔋 Tenergy TN162 8-Bay Smart LCD Battery Charger: Fast Charging for AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd Batteries by Jenny Cordero

I ordered this charger for 8 separate charging slots of 500 mA each and with the update function. I unpacked it, plugged it in and put 8 AA eneloops inside. He started charging them while all the slots were blinking. After about 2 hours, the 1st compartment caught fire while the rest continued to flash. I checked the charger and batteries every 10-15 minutes, after 45 minutes I noticed the batteries were getting warmer. The next time I checked them they were hot so I pulled them all out and let them cool a bit. I then installed 7 that never stopped flashing and plugged them into an 8 bay Bonai charger. After they all turned green I took 2 back into the Tenergy TN162 and put 1 in the 1st compartment which was the only fully charged one and the 2nd battery in the last compartment. I was disappointed to see both flashing after an hour, but at least the batteries never got hot. I sent it back today. I'm very disappointed, it has all the features I wanted. I bought 10 chargers and only one has all the features I need and is working properly. 4 all have issues with at least 1-2 bays or missing features or both.
