Very happy with this washable filter. Just place it on the top rack of the dishwasher and you're good to go. I did NOT leave it inside during the drying cycle because it gets wet and it seemed like a waste of time to dry it only to get it wet before installing. And dishwasher temperatures can be too harsh for a plastic filter frame. This is much more economical than portable "swamp coolers" that require a filter change. This should last many washes. I recommend this washable filter.
