Works well in moderate cold, but not built for super cold
I installed this product and used the velcro straps to snugly place it over the backflow preventer. We got down to 11 F and it was not able to keep the BFP from freezing and busting. I think this product works well in moderate (say 20F and above), but not supercold.
- Looks like it will last longer than previous product, tune will tell.
- The product may not be suitable for backflow preventers that are regularly inspected
