Unacceptable delay - my new review

For the two days that I had this as far as I could tell it works fine once it's on. But there is about a 3-4 second delay between applying AC power and there being a DC output. This is fine if say it is being used for outdoor lights that are turned on with a timer or light sensor, but completely unacceptable for indoor lights on a wall switch, which is my case. I am returning this.

Significant Delay: my feedback

Although the product does function, the 3 second delay is annoying and the lack of wiring instructions increases installation time. I would not purchase this product again and would not recommend this to others.

Great power supply for LED projects.

These power supplies are great. They fit anywhere, last forever, run cool, and help me in my LED projects. I am using one now to drive 16 feet of LED strip lights over my kitchen countertops. Just plug and play.

Led power converter

This works well for led strips, but it does get very hot. Careful not to put it on a cloth it will need room to breathe. Is very useful!

Just right for my opinion

Exactly what I needed. I used it on a bench I made out of a Jeep grill and used it to light up the turn signals and headlights. The low wattage was perfect not to blind any one around

Wrong item best in my review

Not sure why but looks like I received a unit that is 24V output even though this item and in all description photos show 12V. Thankfully I looked it over before hooking it up.

Recommend: My Application is Bachup Lights

Using as additional backup lights on my '76 Chevy K20. Mounted below the tailgate pivot axis and above the bumper. Only caveat, light is blocked by built-up snow on the bumper.Liked: Seems to be well-built. Wire leads good quality. Mounting hardware provided. Plenty bright and good light pattern.Dislike: The dimensions of the mounting brackets do not facilitate a near flush mount, when the mounting surface is directly behind the fixture. Flickering Issues in my review

The only issue I've had is the LED light that it is powering flickers on occasion. But that could be because I have it plugged into a power strip, or that there's something wrong with the LED light itself. It's hard to say.I also wish the white output cable was longer. Other than that, it seems to work just fine.

Good LED power supply

Arrived promptly and worked as advertised. It was actually longer than I thought and has a warning not to touch it because it gets hot. I have not experienced that yet, but just using it to power one LED light.

Takes 3-5 seconds to turn on. It seems to work so far. I wish it didn't include the cable. Makes it harder to install into the built-in applications.

Works as hoped for unusual application

This worked great as a 115V AC ---> 12V DC power converter for a Tire Pressure Monitor System on our RV. We use it to power the TPMS Booster to read the tire pressure in our car tire being towed behind the RV

4.4 second delay before it turns on

Ther is a 4.4 second delay before the lights turn on, it is a LED driver, this delay is a safety hazard, order size to comply with NEC codes.

Failed after only 3 months.

Failed after only 3 months. Used it with an equalizer. The defective caused the equalizer to pulsate rather than provide a constant current.

Perfect replacement for failed Malibu LED power supplies.

Yes, as mentioned by other reviewers, there is a time lag before it supplies power to the LED lighting, but oddly enough, the delay is equal to that of a Malibu LED power supply. The unit is small and easily hidden; its only short coming is the fairly short output line.
