These hooks can't hold 25 pounds. I bought these hooks to secure and hold a magnetic curtain rod that had a broken magnet. First, these hooks are so small they couldn't even fit around the tiny curtain rod, so all I had to do was slide them sideways under the curtain rod to support them. Even with three hooks they hardly help to hold the rod. I had a few extra hooks so I attached one to the side of my husband's grill. I hung a spatula on it and it fell off immediately and then fell into the cracks of the wooden porch and got lost in the abyss under the porch. Do not hold a spatula or even a flimsy cornice. I used the leftover hooks to hold some oven mitts on the side of my microwave and they were fine and didn't fall off so they will support the weight of the oven. Oh well.
