I won a 10# CO2 setup in off-road racing. It didn't come with a bracket, and those for mounting a CO2 tank (like PowerTank's) are ridiculously expensive. At $11 each, I decided to try these Quick Fist clips. They serve as a mounting option. However, I am concerned that they are not strong enough to prevent the tank from flying apart when I get into a high-speed accident on the highway. So I added a safety cable made of 1/4" steel wire and attached one end to the jeep's tank and the other to a tank handle. Now if the clamp fails in a crash, the tank wins. If you're just off-road and not on the freeway then these clamps (actually heavy duty rubber bands) will probably suffice, except for extremely hard rollovers... easy enough to add that you should consider this for your own safety.
