I use it a bit unorthodox. I built a weightless chair work station where I can lean back and let monitors dangle overhead. So take this review with a grain of salt. The bar size needed is quite large so not very convenient to use if you want to use smaller bars. You have to mount the monitor right on the end of the bracket (no jumper or anything) so it's quite difficult to hold and fix it. The screws themselves wear and loosen, so don't over-tighten or over-adjust. The brackets aren't strong enough if you ask me if you can lock the monitor in place (again, mine is upside down, not horizontal, so that affects that). The last thing I will mention is a different VESA (or whatever). it says) Sizes do not mean every size will work with your monitor. In particular, I feel I had a monitor that worked on the smaller size, but the extra metal for the larger size was blocking the HDMI monitor and other inputs.
