Review on Renewed Apple MacBook Air - 13-inch Retina Display, πŸ’» 1.6GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5, 256GB in Gold (Latest Model) by Wisnu Buana ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Before that, I used an old Macbook Air 17 years old and after a lot of reviewed reviews, I decided to upgrade. I bought the basic version 8/256. In principle, everything is fine except for the amount of storage, but it seems to me that it’s easier to buy an external SSD than to pay the horse price tag for an additional 256 GB. In terms of user experience, the Macbook Air on the M1 is a very worthy option for anyone looking for a STANDALONE ultrabook capable of doing more than just a simple typewriter.

Pros
  • - Performance - Battery life - Compactness, weight - Good microphones (no matter how many times I used gaming headsets on a PC, the interlocutors always complained about my microphone, but now they can hear me clearly, loudly and without voice distortion) - Body materials - Lack of a fan (a controversial point, but for everyday tasks and even for not very demanding games, cooling is not needed. There is no extra noise and the effect of a heater when you work with a laptop on your lap or in bed)
Cons
  • - Camera quality - Lack of ports (although, on the other hand, such a solution is justified due to the thickness of the case) - Price for additional GB on SSD - Of the promised number of mobile applications, you can actually use only a few (applications like Instagram, etc. are disabled for downloading from Mac) : Very easily soiled screen, touching it is contraindicated. Never wipe it with alcohol wipes or similar aggressive liquids (peroxide, etc.). The anti-reflective coating is peeling off. I've already been so stubborn, but everything worked out.

Got pros: Lightweight and holds a charge well. All the programs I need work great, even the heavy Lightroom pulls with a bang. Has some cons 256 GB of memory is not enough. But an external hard drive solves the problem.

Got pros: Speed of operation, lack of cooling and, consequently, the need to clean the coolers Some cons: M1 does not allow you to install Windows through bootcamp, only through parallels, which is paid. The free version does not allow ates. pay attention to whom it is important
