Just won't work with my Macbook Pro

I'm trying to run two 27" 2560x1440 screens on a new MBP. I have a G-sync monitor that kept crashing with these cables and a second monitor. kept flickering randomly. I've since switched to a couple of regular HDMI cables with UNI USB-C to HDMI converters and both screens work great. Also the size of the HDMI adapter was an issue, it's gigantic and doesn't really fit in the HDMI port on the G-Sync monitor as it keeps dirtying the monitor case.
