Review on 🐾 Lifeunion Adjustable Service Dog Backpack for Camping, Hiking, and Training - Supply Saddle Bag by Heidi Jenkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Enough for your dog to carry enough for a day hike.

This bag is perfectly sized for your dog to carry silicone bowls, two small (4-6 oz) water bottles and a zippered pocket with dog food and space for treats. The trailer itself is fine. I can pick up my dog by the handle, he balances perfectly in the harness and is comfortable. I know this because the large side pockets make it difficult for her to maneuver in rocky areas, so I just pick her up and carry her when she starts clinging to the rocks. This would be a great feature for an older dog who has trouble getting into a car over logs and other terrain. My dog is 40 pounds and fits well on all harnesses from small to medium, this one is no different. It fits her, but not perfectly. The biggest disadvantage is that the straps can completely detach from the loops and get lost. It would also be nice if the "saddlebags" had a compression strap or some kind of elastic band so that they are less in the way when they are not fully packed. Great system and really a must have for people who take their dog on hikes or even just to help older dogs because of the handle feature (other harnesses don't have a back strap and using the handle on other harnesses is a bit like lifting your dog) . bitten on the neck).

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
