Instead of taking this bracelet to a jeweler to have the excess pieces removed to fit your wrist, lift the lever and slide part of the bracelet under the rest of the bracelet. Instead of lifting the end piece to open, push the two raised levers on opposite sides of the strap to open the protruding section, which is much easier, and then push that section into place until it clicks to close the strap .
