This has to be one of the best laundry detergents on the market. It is gentle on laundry, has a mild fragrance and can be used in front-loading, top-loading or hand-held washing machines. And removes stains! When I travel, I pack a small can of Pervoll in my suitcase, and whether I'm in Paris or on a remote tropical island, I can hand wash my clothes and remove even the most stubborn stains. This is particularly suitable for wool and delicate laundry. I also like Persil Gel which is a stronger detergent and is only machine washable (not hand washable) and works a little better on stubborn stains. I use Persil megaperls every day, but I pretreat with Pervol or gel. Highly recommended. This will biodegrade in the environment within 3 days, making it an ecological choice.
