I usually knit my own socks. So having a lot of strings on the inside is not unusual, but I wouldn't darn them in and not let them dangle loose like this. These socks are not particularly thick, not as thick as hand knitted socks. But they are very nice looking and I need some thinner socks for not so cold days. The six pack I ordered was half price for one day and I took advantage of that sale. It just over $1 per pair, it was a great deal. So, even if they don't last very long, I don't think it's a waste of money. The yarn blend is perfect, since in sock yarn we always look for one third nylon or polyester to give the fibers strength and make the socks last longer. One star off for all the loose strings on the inside in the mini loops you can catch your toenails in. Otherwise it remains to be seen how long they hold up.
