Definitely not nylon

I received a poor quality plastic tube that will not bend or tear. Definitely not nylon. and it won't stay in place with Swagelock fittings. It's rough on the outside, doesn't seal, and the plastic is so hard that Swagelock fittings won't snag. If you try to use this crap on air brakes, you're just asking for trouble. It's absolutely awful.

Pros
  • Model
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

What I didn't like was that I bought the manufacturer's electromagnetic air switch . and Revain recommended adding a tube. The hose I added was a quarter inch for evaporative coolers or ice machines, not pressure systems, and so I spent a ton of money trying to install this useless hose. This is the correct pipe and you can identify it by its ID. The folks at Revain have no idea about air pressure systems, so they're useless.

  • length
Cons
  • cable shorter than others

Ideal for installing airbags!

I installed a set of Firestone airbags on my vintage 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500hd. The truck is long, with a crew cab and an 8-foot bed. The supplied hose was not sufficient for a complete installation. This tube was even better than the tube that came with it. When unwound it is straight unlike the tubes of the kit which retain the memory of the coil. Good stuff and highly recommended. I deploy my airbags at 70psi when a 5 wheel trailer is connected. Works perfectly, no deviations noticed.
