I like this cake pan because it's big enough for my cakes. The only thing I don't like is that the indentation that the cakes sit in is too deep for easy removal, even with the included cake base insert. I easily solved this problem by using an inverted cupcake pan under the board instead of an insert. This gives the perfect buoyancy so the cake board is still held in the cradle (the cake can't slide) and I can easily slide my fingers under the board to remove the cake or cut the cake while it's still sitting. in the base.
