I bought these to fit in a small 3x3 foot recording booth so almost the entire strip rests on the ceiling. Adhesion is strong and it was very quick and easy to install. I had no problem cutting off the excess (obviously that's a problem) and the seller sent me an additional email to confirm I was cutting it off correctly without even asking for help. So maybe you need to be careful. out. Considering the small space of the booth I put it in and pretty much the entire strip I used, I expected it to be brighter. Instead, it just adds color. They are therefore well suited for mood lighting; I wouldn't use it as a light source. I immediately had to buy another light source for the stand. The only small issue is that the power cord is very short, so plan accordingly. If you plan to wrap the ceiling with it, be prepared to buy an extension cord. Also, the remote box is relatively short, so you'll have to disguise or hide it, but it's still visible for the remote to get into the sensor. TL; DR, inexpensive, expects it to be brighter.
