If you have dry skin, it will definitely catch on! A whole heap of tassels fell off the pillow and the whole room was a mess. I cleaned it for several days and found it all over the house. I had to take all the quilt and pillows with scissors and cut off all the excess threads. The pillowcase they sent me also has a huge hook. As soon as I opened it, it smelled very musky, so I had to wash the whole set. At the same time it looks very elegant. I got lots of compliments. The top of the duvet feels very rough against the skin, the bottom of the duvet isn't too bad, you can definitely tell it's a cheaper material. I would definitely rate this set in the $70-80 range rather than $100. Updated about a month and I'm returning it. The bed skirt was torn. The fabric sticks to everything. It still seems so gross that I stopped using it. I thought I'd get used to it, but you won't. Disappointed because it was such a nice set.
