This power is switched on by twisting the plastic dial which clicks into position. However, the dial is also spring loaded defaulting to "off". The issue with my switch that vibration can make the unit snap back to "off" since it is spring loaded. This may be okay for an application that does not vibrate, but not so much for something like a boat, or similar. The dimensions were accurate.

CAN AM Spyder Motorcycle horn and emergency flashers can be activated when the keyed switch in the OFF position. We did not like this during times we might stop at a hotel overnight. Also, we added usb power and we wanted that switched as well. So far it is doing exactly what we intended. Mounted the switch inside the front storage (FRUNK) near the battery access cover behind the zippered liner in our 2018 CAN AM Spyder RT Limited.

I added this switch to my 2020 Yamaha YXZ1000r because the battery wouldn’t maintain a charge. This was a problem from the day I purchased it but I couldn’t find what was draining the battery. The machine went through 3 batteries before I installed this switch. Now, I just turn the switch off when I’m done using the side-by-side and it stays good. This has been a huge benefit.

Great little switch. I use on my portable generator to prevent the battery from draining when it sits unused. I would purchase again.

received on time, installed to replace the stock battery disconnect that came on my toy hauler that was faulty. it works great. The only thing that would have liked to see added to this is a second red key.

10 AWG is about the thickness of half the diameter of a pencil. These were too small and would not fit on my deep cycle battery, so I retuned for 8 AWG which is the size of a #2 pencil and better suited for my application.

This cable will not fit on a marine battery terminal! you have to bore out a bigger hole which is stupid. the awg didn't feel as thick as it should either.

I installed this on a wall inside of my 17' RV and I like the fact that it doesn't dominate the space, unlike most of the alternatives. There were no instructions included, but the switch was easy to install and it seems to be performing as expected, allowing me to isolate my LiFePO4 battery as needed.

Main failed hooking it up and about fried my battery.Everything else was wired currently and the switch was bad. I havnt tried a second copy yet

Useless. Did not come with the wires it says are included. No installation instructions. Nothing. Not worth the money if you ask me.

I purchased this to use as a kill switch for my Kicker head unit and Rockford Amp on my Can-Am Defender. I installed this in the side of the battery cover panel, just under the passenger seat. The stereo is hard wired to the battery, and the head unit would slowly drain the battery. This solved the issue.
