Review on Ocelo Scrub and Wipe Cleaning Pad - Assorted Colors and Designs (1 Pad) by Katie Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best sponge! suitable for cleaning tools

I have tried many different sponges/dish pads over the years. Back in 2012 I found this at the grocery store and loved it. It doesn't smell and nothing sticks. And it takes a very long time, about 8 months for me. As long as you wring it out after use, it won't smell, but if you soak it in a pot of dirty dishwater for more than one night on a very humid day, it may smell a bit strange. Then simply rinse it with dish soap or put it in the laundry and the smell will disappear. When it came time to finally replace it, I couldn't find it anywhere around. Knowing how great it is I ordered 5 of these in July 2012 for fear they would be discontinued or something. Well after THREE years it's finally time to buy more. I just opened my last pack. That means I wiped 4 sponges in 3 years. The only thing that necessitates a replacement after about 8 months of use is that the inner foam, or whatever it is, eventually becomes a bit brittle, but the outer has never lost its ability to scrub off gross dirt, remains non-stick, and stay soft with the other side. Well, looking back for more of my 2012 order, I found that I actually paid $7.60 for the sponge. This time I ordered 4 for almost half what I spent last time. The price is worth it. The non-stick and anti-odor factors make it worth the money. There's nothing worse than washing dishes with an awesome smelling sponge. Yay! Plus the fact that it lasts on me, averaging 8 months per sponge, yes! Once you've tried one, you'll never go back to another sponge. I just hope they never stop selling and wish they were sold locally.
