I ordered these coasters because of their description as 'cast iron' and a small miniature suggesting they are a more greyish metal colour. Maybe I should have looked more closely at all the photos on the product page. When the coasters arrived I was a little disappointed to find that they weren't actually cast iron (they are much lighter than you would expect cast iron to be) and the finish is a very shiny burnished brass. draft, very. And the legs of the coasters are high enough so you don't have to worry about heat transfer to your table. So if you're happy with the brightly polished brass finish, you should be happy with them. However, the product description needs to be amended to reflect the actual composition of the metal (which I understand is cast aluminum). This was such a serious misrepresentation that I downgraded my rating by two stars.
