I did not use it for its intended purpose. I attached it to my car door handle to help me close a car door that was too heavy for my aching shoulder. I half closed the door, then reached out with my other hand and used the crank to slam the door all the way down.

Great pen, easy to set up and really easy to use. Just set the length you want, slip it over the door and close the windows to keep it in place. It helped me a lot after my knee surgery. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially older people like me. Many Thanks.

Definitely worth the price and I definitely recommend it. I have it on the handle above the dash in a Dodge Ram. It is not safe to put it on the door as it will break the window. I still have trouble getting in and out of the truck but this really helps.

I used a top handle instead of a door frame to attach it. It seems to work better for him. It's just another option to consider. Overall a great purchase.

Nylon Support Strap will not work if your car does not have a window frame over the side door windows and is awkward to use as you have to roll the window halfway. , and then remove the seat belt, raise the window and turn off the ignition after getting out of the car. It would be better if you use it with a car with "non-electric" mechanical pop-up windows! The Carcane's handrails work well as long as you have something to grab hold of with the other hand.
