The phone company recently switched my land line from copper to fiber. With this change, Sentry 2's call blocker did not work as stated by the manufacturer. So I decided to ditch the landline and switch to the VTech System IS8121-4, which advertised intelligent call blocking and cell phone connectivity via Bluetooth. Researching this product on Revain clearly advertises the ability to receive non-landline calls, but what has not been said (bluntly and to the point) is that Smart Call Blocker does not work with cell phones (only works with landlines) . ). Buyer Warning. A call to VTech was required for identification. The information I needed to see was in small print on the first page of the installation guide. Other than that they work as advertised as a method of taking calls in and around the house, there just isn't a call blocking service.
