I wish I could give this case 5 stars but in the end I was unfortunately disappointed. I've heard great reviews from friends who have iPearl cases for other MacBook models, but unfortunately the Air doesn't look like the others. When I first ordered this case, the top of the cover was deformed. iPeal's customer service was fantastic and they immediately sent me a new one. I managed to attach the new top, but the two clips that snap into place at the top of the screen never connected to the computer (I've had several other attempts to no avail). It still does the job, so I kept using it without those two clamps. After a few months the bottom of the case started falling off all the time so I stopped using everything together and just used the top. Because these top two clips were never connected to the computer, dirt, dust, etc. could get under the cover. After many unsuccessful attempts to remove the case to clean underneath (the dirt is very visible through the case), I gave up and decided to live with it. Finally today I couldn't take it anymore and tried to remove the cover again. With minimal effort, I was able to loosen a few clips, but the case ripped in the process. It's still not completely detached from my computer and I think I'll have to completely break it to remove it completely. Although the case appears to be made of quality materials, the color is beautiful and unfortunately the customer service was great. Landing just isn't the same. (I've verified that I have the correct MacBook Air model for this case, so that's not the issue.) I'll be ordering a new case from a different company in hopes of good luck!
