Review on Sargent Art 90 4000 12X16 Inch Canvas by Sasha Hsiao

Art supplies in general continue to go up in price every year which I think is to be expected like everything else. I used to use pre-assembled canvas panels for everything, but that's no longer cost effective, especially for what I call "loitering" when I'm not going to frame, sell, or give away. It is important. Now keep in mind that I'm not exactly a mean person or a Scrooge by my standards, but I like to keep a close eye on where my money goes. I have been using these Sargent Art canvases for quite some time and I must say that I am completely satisfied with them. I use them to work with acrylic. The 12x16 sheets reviewed here come in 10 pads and the price here is pretty good compared to what I pay at my local art supply store. As stated in the product description this is an acid free material and in fact has an acrylic titanium primer. I've used this material from time to time to frame a few paintings and it's really good for that. . For the price this is a very high quality product and extremely cost effective. You get more for your money. I usually keep three sizes in stock. I've had great luck with this material and will continue to use it until I find something better for my money. Don Blankenship, Ozark.
