DO NOT use on a child's head, the pediatrician warned! I used them on my 2-3 month old for about a month and then noticed that the back of her head developed a permanent indentation where the pillow ends in a "V" shape at the bottom. She is now 2 years old and still has that V shaped dent on the bottom of her head! When I tried to prevent "flathead" instead, I caused another problem. My pediatrician also said this pillow DOES NOT provide adequate NECK support for a growing baby. She says that these types of products can prey on parents' fears and cause irreparable harm to the child. The material for this pillow is too hard, so it will mold your baby's soft skull in a short time. And NOT in a good sense! In my child it is irreversible. There are better, safer options that won't leave permanent dents.
