I want to love this chair but I can't

I bought this chair to replace an old cheap one I had for several years. I was initially very impressed with the apparent quality and durability, but quickly became less than impressed after having to sit in it for an extended period of time. Pros: Impressive build quality and materials. The chair feels solid and all materials are thick and feel solid. I have no doubt that it will last for many years of everyday use. The chair also looks simple and has a more mature aesthetic than the puke of colors and logos that many other gaming chairs have. You could use this in a professional office environment. The soft upholstery of the seat is quite comfortable because my butt doesn't hurt even after sitting for a long time. Not at all comfortable or ergonomic. I'm a tall, lean person (155 lbs, 6'0") and I feel like they make me sit too far forward and I can never find a position where they sit properly and can support me.Maybe they work better for shorter people but not for me.- It could apply to all gaming chairs and it might not be fair to list the cons for this one but it doesn't seem to apply to my old one: bucket shape .produces fins near your shoulders which forces you to roll them forward when in bad shape. It absolutely hurts after a long time.As I said I'm of a slim build and if I find it uncomfortable I can I can't imagine how someone with a wider stature could be better than me. At the minimum height setting, it feels too high for me and I have to use the footrest. Again, I'm a tall person, so I'm sure this prob lem is even worse for little people. - You cannot remove the armrests! e them without a drill I think. Why not let the customer remove the armrests, which often feel more obtrusive than comfortable? I like just not having them and putting my hands on the table, but I don't even have the ability to do it. Nothing beats having no options to make your product less accessible to people. Overall I'm disappointed and regret this purchase but I've had no luck with returns mostly because it's already assembled and I threw away the box and everything. a way. If I could go back I would have wiserly spent my $350 on something far more ergonomic and comfortable than just what I thought was cool.
