Great protection, not good for writing/drawing

I've been using SuperShieldz screen protectors for a long time, they've definitely saved my phones more than a few times. They're great for protecting your device's screen from scratches (even saving mine from some tight sidewalk collisions) and for regular use that doesn't require tenuous precision (typing, gaming, checking Facebook, etc.). I've found that such protection comes at the expense of touch accuracy (when using a stylus for writing/drawing). Considering my good experience with this brand, I did not hesitate to buy this protection for my new iPad (6th generation, 2018 model), the installation was not that difficult but I noticed the upper cutout (the one for the front). . camera) is big enough not to cover the camera, but it does cover the ISO sensor next to it (see pictures), although I don't think it's that big of a deal. I didn't notice any impact from my normal usage when using the sensor, other than a slight difference in depth when using the home button (this IS guard is thick). However, I bought this iPad to use as a note-taking tool at school, and when I tried to take some notes (I use an Apple Pencil and a cheaper, highly sensitive Meko stylus instead), I REALLY noticed a difference. Without the protector, I had no trouble writing (with the Goodnotes app), however, once installed, some of my strokes aren't recognized, requiring me to write some letters more than once before they actually appear on screen when taking a picture. Remarks. I also noticed that the spot where the pen tip is and where the stroke is recognized is slightly offset, although this may not matter when taking notes, it could pose a problem for anyone using their drawing device. Overall, I feel like a protector does the job of keeping my screen from cracking, so I'm just going to stick with it depending on how annoying the sensitivity issue gets (lack of line recognition when using my pencil) I may need to get one thinner (and less protective) screen protector.
