This works for me. 16 hours after applying it in a wet New England summer, gardening, driving, painting the house, cutting wood with a chainsaw, carving wood, playing with kids, etc. and I don't smell awful. I wouldn't ask for more. The texture is softer than what I'm used to, so I apply a little more than other products I've used, but it's actually good in terms of effectiveness. The cardboard packaging isn't bad, doesn't seem to fall apart and it's not difficult to lift the wand. My wife described this scent (Rough Coast) as "a department store in a mall in 1992 and I love it". I agree, not what I expected, but I'm delighted and nostalgic. I've been using "natural" deodorants for about 5 years. The truth is that you will have to change them from time to time as they really don't work anymore. I use hand sanitizer on my armpits in the shower from time to time, which helps, but I get a good funk in the evenings. I'm hoping to get some time off of this product and if I run out and it's still working I'll definitely be back ordering.
