Review on πŸ”ͺ OCTAVO 300W Electric Meat Grinder with 8-Cup Stainless Steel Bowl, Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper - 4 Stainless Steel Blades for Dicing, Mincing, and Puree by Christopher Penn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a chopper/chopper, NOT a blender or food processor

I own several blenders and food processors. I can't say anything bad about them, they do a good job. And, despite numerous negative reviews, this device is excellent for its main task - chopping / coarse chopping of meat. This isn't what you need if you're grinding 10-20 pounds of pork/beef into a sausage, but just what you need for small batches (1/4 pound to 1-1/2 pounds, especially leftover roasts). grilled ). meat, etc.). If you're over a half or 3/4 pound, you'll likely be working in batches. Due to the 4 blade system it processes meat quickly and unlike most food processors the process is easy to see and (at least for me) it delivers a much more even grind than most food processors. only has blades on the bottom. They tend to do a much better job of pureeing than just grinding. I have over 5 other food processors that can't cut 3/4 pound cuts of beef to look like it's "ground" beef without some of it turning into a patty and a few pea sized nuggets or a marble leaves behind. And if I run/pulse it enough I end up with a very smooth pie. The only minus is small - if you try to take the entire assembly only by the motor handle, the motor simply comes off. This reminds me to mention that it's MUCH easier to put the lid on the bowl and the motor on the lid (so the safety switch is ready and working) than it is to put the lid on properly and latch it on any other food processor, that I own. especially hate the 2 Kitchen_Aid processors because the top can be installed in at least 2 positions but only 1 turn on the safety switch for them to work. On this unit, the "square" motor is mounted in each of the 4 positions and will work in any of them as long as it is fully attached to the cover and cutterblock. Would I recommend this to other customers - damn yes! AND NO. I have not received any compensation for this review.
