Review on ๐Ÿˆ Optimized for SEO: Weruva Classic Recipes Grain-Free Natural Canned Wet Cat Food by Regina Contreras

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the best commercial cat food I have found so far

This food is my first choice for my cat with lymphoma (cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, currently on chemotherapy). No one knows what causes lymphoma, but it is widely believed that one of the main causes is eating foods to which a person is allergic, leading to inflammation that leads to IBD a few years later, which leads to lymphoma a few years later . . . It is also often suspected that vegetable proteins (corn, rice, wheat, other grains) and other common commercial pet food additives (one of which is carrageenan) trigger an allergic/inflammatory cascade that occurs by the age of 10-12 years in culminating in a lymphoma. Years. Unfortunately, my GP recommended me a dry food recipe that was filled with corn. At the same time, an employee at my local pet food store suggested Weruva. Buddy ate and loved both before he was diagnosed with lymphoma. Weruva is the only cat food manufacturer left in our lives after being diagnosed with lymphoma. For me as a cancer patient, this is grain free, no carrageenan and low carb. About 55 calories per 3 ounces. Glass, 59% protein, 33% fat and 9% carbohydrates. A low carb diet is what you need for any cancer patient and most older cats die of cancer or kidney disease which is why a low carb diet is so important. My cat loved this food before the lymphoma and still loves it now that gastrointestinal upset has become a part of everyday life. It doesn't cause vomiting or diarrhea, which is impressive when it comes to gastrointestinal cancer and chemotherapy. I also love Weruva's other flavors and products (especially Truluxe Peking Duck) but I think Buddy would call this one his absolute favourite. One of the things I learned after my pet was diagnosed is that the advice to only feed a cat one food is old and discredited. Reduce your risk by eating a variety of foods and manufacturers, just as you wouldn't limit your diet to one meal, even if someone told you that's all your body needs. This is a 100% independent review; I received nothing in return for this review. I have no relationship with the manufacturers or sellers of this product. Addendum: Buddy lived with small cell lymphoma for 37 months and had only a partial remission. 3 chemotherapy protocols. Veruva was with us all the way. At the worst of times, I backed him up with fried chicken breasts and fried steak (human food). Frozen pre-cooked shrimp were another lifesaver for the worker, who worked 8 to 12 hours at a time. After chemotherapy kicked in, Buddy was able to eat high quality commercial food. I have a new puppy and I feed it Weruva, among other things, because Weruva doesn't make real puppy food yet.
