Bright screen but otherwise not outstanding performance *EDITED*

I really wanted to love this tablet but unfortunately it had some flaws that made me choose another solution . In fact, I had both versions, Standard and Professional. So first the pros and cons of the PRO version: PROS: - Very bright screen, still a little hard to see in bright sunlight but better than anything I've seen. used in this size, holds really securely due to its weight. - The low-resolution display, only 720, didn't bother me much when flying, but if you plan to use the tablet for other purposes, it would be a disappointment. - Old processor, the processor here is from 2018, I did tests and it showed its age compared to less dated hardware. - Problems deleting Google Maps, apparently some are waiting for the provider to get the Google Play certificate. So I've had this tablet for about 2 weeks, the first tablet (non-professional) had an issue where it turned off unexpectedly for no reason. I checked and double checked the USB port and used the extension cable that came with it, but it still happened. I can't tell if the device is defective. After that, I actually sent the original back and ordered the PRO at the same time, hoping I'd have a better experience. and I did it, except for problems deleting google maps. I will say that the tablet was reliable, but not knowing about future software support, I did not want to put up with it. I ended up buying a Samsung Tab S7, I miss the Tripletek brightness, but in all other respects the Samsung is much faster and more responsive. So who is it for? I would say that this is someone who absolutely needs a bright screen and flies in places where there is no possibility of finding a shadow. Also, someone who takes this device is basically just for drone control and not for other tasks that require faster equipment. DJI FLY seems to love RAM but isn't CPU intensive so everything works fine. I've attached a few screens from the device to give some info. I hope this review is helpful to anyone considering this tablet. EDIT: The company contacted me tonight about my experience and I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars based on our conversation. Julio, the gentleman I spoke to, spoke directly to some of the initial device issues I encountered as a first time user and assured me they had been resolved. One thing the company has certainly responded to throughout my experience. My above review is still honest, and based on my personal experience, the company has clarified that the device is primarily intended for flying drones and a faster processor is unlikely to be required for this task.

Pros
  • 1200 nit display
Cons
  • Not bad but...
