This is a great coat, easy to put on and take off! I was concerned that the belly area of the coat is open and lets in cold air, but that doesn't seem to be a problem, my dog stays fairly warm and dry. My dog is active and the coat seems to stay in place. The only problem I had, and this was only once, was my dog getting tangled in the collar area when walking out. This stopped her in her tracks, but she quickly broke free and took off. It was between sizes so I bought one that was a little shorter but fit everywhere. She is a 2 year old female Doberman weighing 80 pounds. I bought her a large and it fits almost perfectly. The coat ends right at the base of her tail.
