We bought these for my mum who wears hearing aids. Her audiologist recommended buying alligators so Mom didn't have to struggle with hearing aids, glasses, and an elastic mask. They're lightweight and the fabric is comfortable, but they're nowhere near big enough to fit the average adult head. Mom has a small head, and the alligator wraps around her neck without much slack (it looks nice - like a scarf around her neck), and there's no extra tension when she puts it on her nose. I inherited my father's large head and there was no way to get it over my head or comfortably over my nose. They may work well for a younger person or an older child.
